Common BOQ mistakes
- • Accepting a lump-sum rate with no itemised scope
- • Missing exclusions (external development, tax, solar, smart systems)
- • Vague material grades (“best quality” without specification)
- • No variation process for changes after approval
- • Confusing package labels (Grey / Semi / Turnkey) with a signed BOQ
